General Information |
The conference site is the Ichijo Hall in the Yayoi Auditorium located in the Yayoi campus of the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Tokyo. The campus is a satelite of the Hongo Campus and specifically called as Yayoi Campus.

- Location of the University
The University of Tokyo (Hongo Campus) is located at Bunkyo-ku in Tokyo.
The stations near the university are Ueno and Okachimachi on the JR Yamanote line, Ochanomizu on the JR Chuo line, and Keisei-Ueno on the Keisei line. When you come from these stations, it is convenient to take a taxi.
The nearest subway stations are Hongo-san-chome on the Marunouchi line, Nezu and Yushima on the Chiyoda line, and Todai-mae on the Namboku line. You can walk to the university from these subway stations.

- Travel to the University From Narita Airport
It is most convenient to take a Keisei line train from Narita airport. The destination would be the Keisei-Ueno station. It takes about one and a half hours from the airport to this station. On the same line, you can also take a Skyliner super-express, where you could use some extra facilities, for example baggage rooms. You need an additional ticket to take the Skyliner. More information about the Keisei line is available here. You can walk to the Hotel Park Side from the station in about 10 minutes.
- From Tokyo Station
There are three ways to go to the university from Tokyo station . The first is by the JR Yamanote line to Ueno or Okachimachi, the second is by the JR Chuo line to Ochanomizu, and the third is by the Marunouchi subway line to Hongo-san-chome. It takes about 10 minutes to Ueno, about 5 minutes to Ochanomizu, and about 10 minutes to Hongo-san-chome. You may be lost the first time you try to go to the Tokyo subway station from the JR station.

The weather in Tokyo in mid-January is mostly good but cold, and sometime it snows.
Temperature is expected to be about 8 degrees centigrade in average, ranging from 0 to 15 degrees centigrade.
